Types of melanoma:
Lentigo maligna melanoma:
Often it attacks on aged people and having larger brownish lesions mostly flat.
Acral lentiginous melanoma:
It is not most common type of melanoma even very less common. Acral lentiginous melanoma affects on the sole and palm of the foot and in some cases under the toenails or fingernails.
Super facial spreading melanoma:
It is most common type and affects on all ages. Nevertheless lesions contain varying shapes of brown and black, mostly irregular shapes. Lesions are in this type of melanoma is usually flat
Nodular melanoma does not have any certain color but might get black or reddish blue, dark blue in some cases are the skin cancer symptoms.
Basal cell carcinoma:
This is most common type of skin cancer usually comprising about 90 percent of all skin cancer. Basal cell carcinoma is rarely fatal and usually develops on sun exposed area. In many of studies this is stated that basal cell carcinoma most less spreads in the other areas.

Squamous cell carcinoma:
It is a second most common type of skin cancer. this type of cancer is usually originates from the outer layer of the epidermis. Squamous cell carcinoma is more dangerous than basal cell carcinoma and less the melanoma. It is also cured if identified early but squamous cell carcinoma can spread in other body parts if not properly treated.

Actinic keratosis is a typically epidermal keratinocytes and often called solar actinic keratosis also. This type of skin cancer is precancerous for squamous cell carcinoma.
Actinic keratosis also attacks more on sun exposed area and the ultra violet radiation can be a risk factor of this type of skin cancer. It is a rough raised patch or scaly patch on the skin. Use protective clothing:
You should wear protective clothes as the sunscreen does not provide you complete protection from the UV. You should cover yourself with the dark clothes or others like tightly woven clothes. Wear a hat when go for the outing and glasses that are helpful in the protection of ultraviolet rays.

Analyze your skin:
Check your skin from toe to head regularly and get report every month. Be careful of changing, abnormal moles, raised patches and bumps.
